Proud father Aamir Khan, who has been accompanying son Junaid Khan during the promotions of Loveyapa along with the latter’s co-star Khushi Kapoor, was a part of Bigg Boss 18 grand finale. Considering that the reality show is hosted by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, the moment was nothing less than iconic as audiences witnessed a fun banter between the Khans, who once shared screen space. Amid a fun game that the duo decided to play with each other, Junaid made a quirky remark on Aamir Khan and his ex-wives which has left him quite regretful.
What happened on the sets of Bigg Boss 18
In the midst of the episode, Aamir Khan and Salman Khan decided to follow the ‘phone-exchange’ policy inspired by the theme of the film Loveyapa. The actors decided to see what was on each other’s phones and Aamir, in his funny manner, revealed to the audience how Salman continues to stay in touch with his ‘female’ contacts sparking curiosity among fans. Meanwhile, our Tiger star seemed disinterested in Aamir’s phone and insisted that he would only find either Reena Dutta or Kiran Rao’s texts, to which, Junaid said, “Toh do-do ex-wife ki gaaliyan padh paoge aap (You will get to read abuses sent to him by both his ex-wives)”.
Junaid Khan expresses deep regret over the comment
Although everyone in the show took the remark with a pinch of salt, Junaid has been quite upset about sharing it on a public platform. He told Bollywood Bubble, “I mean, maybe it was a little out of place. No, I mean, they’re both very, very senior actors, so I think I should have behaved a little more…They both have been doing this for 40 years now and they are both fantastic. So maybe I should have behaved myself.”
