Uber India has roped in actor and one of India’s biggest content creators, Bhuvan Bam, for a unique digital campaign celebrating the launch of its new Uber One membership. The campaign, which went live just four days ago, has taken a creative spin by leveraging the ‘one’ sound in the names of popular Indian celebrities. Bhuvan Bam, whose first name contains “van”, which sounds like “one”.
In the campaign, Bhuvan dons his popular Angry Masterji avatar, creating a viral moment with his distinct comedic touch. The digital-only initiative has already made massive, unprecedented waves, achieving record-breaking engagement numbers across social media. The content has amassed over 1 million likes, more than 11 million views, and an impressive 131,000 shares.
This remarkable performance demonstrates the power of Bhuvan’s influence, particularly on Instagram, where he has built a loyal fan base. His ability to drive engagement is a testament to his dominance in the digital space, making him one of the most sought-after figures for brand partnerships.
