Hina Khan, who has been sharing every bit of her journey with her fans, aka Hinaholics, have also been sharing several poignant posts where she describes her battle with the disease. Recently, the actress revealed that she is nearing the end of her chemo treatment and mentioned how a single surviving eye lash became a symbol of hope for her.
Taking to the social media platform Instagram, Hina Khan shared a close up shot of the sole surviving eyelash after her chemo treatment. Readers would be aware that this treatment causes extensive loss of hair and Hina showcased how the single eye lash endured all the rigorous treatment as it continued to stay strong. Calling it her ‘inspiration’, the actress wrote in the note, “Wanna know what’s my current source of motivation? Once part of a mighty and beautiful Brigade that adorned my eyes. My Genetically long and beautiful lashes..This BRAVE , LONE WARRIOR my last standing Eyelash has fought it all beside me ??Nearing the last cycle of my Chemo this single Eyelash is my MOTIVATION. We shall see this all through ??????? Yes we will InshaAllah”. She continued, “P.S - Haven’t worn falsies in a decade, actually more, but now I do, for my shoots koi naaaaa.. Sab theek ho jaana hai”.

Her post, yet again, received lots of love from fans across the country as well as several industry insiders. Ektaa R Kapoor, who is also quite fond of Khan, dropped heart emojis whereas Akshara’s onscreen mother Lata Saberwal also showcased her support saying, “Sending prayers, you are still beautiful and will come out shining. Loads of love”. Others who dropped their love and support included actors Mouni Roy, Juhi Parmar, Abhishek Verma, Shubhaavi Choksey, among others.
Hina Khan opened up about being diagnosed with cancer earlier this year, and a few days later, the actress also posted a video of her undergoing chemo treatment. With her current post, she has asserted that she is nearing the end of the same and has assured her fans that she will be back with a bang!
