Patralekhaa, who has featured in versatile roles in films and web-series, recently opened up about the importance of Mother’s Day and mothers in our lives. Readers would be aware that May 12, 2024 is marked as the International Mother’s Day and it is the time to celebrate our biggest cheerleaders, our strongest supporters, and the most important women in our lives - our mothers. For this popular Bollywood actress, Mother’s Day is not just about a single day of celebration but it goes beyond.
Patralekhaa shared her opinion saying, “While I do wake up and call her first thing in the morning to wish her on Mother's Day, I truly celebrate my mother every single day." When asked what makes her bond with her mother so unique and special, she shared, “I have always been away from home since I was 12 years old, and this experience has made me understand the value of my parents and home in a profound way. My mother is my world and my guiding force.”
On the work front, Patralekhaa has four upcoming projects: an OTT series- Gulkanda Tales, as well as the films Phule, IC814: The Kandahar Hijack, and Wild Wild Punjab. Also, she has marked 2024 as one of the most crucial years of her career as she says, “The outcome of seven years of hard work will be released this year.”
Speaking of her personal life, the actress is married to actor Rajkummar Rao, who recently featured in the biographical drama Srikanth: Aa Raha Hai Sabki Aankhein Kholne which is based on the life of the visually impaired Indian entrepreneur Srikanth Bolla. The couple tied the knot in a traditional ceremony in Chandigarh on November 15, 2021 after dating each other for almost over a decade.
