A Spiritual Start in Rishikesh
Varun and Pooja arrived in Rishikesh on Friday, March 21, 2025, to shoot a crucial three-day schedule for Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, a romantic comedy directed by David Dhawan, Varun’s father. Before diving into the river-rafting sequence planned for the film, the actors participated in the Ganga Aarti, a revered ritual on the banks of the holy Ganges. Dressed in traditional outfits, they were seen soaking in the devotional vibes, surrounded by a large crowd of onlookers and devotees.
The duo also received blessings in the form of a Rudraksha plant, Sangam water, and sacred ashes from Pujya Swamiji, and they planted a Rudraksha tree at the ashram premises, symbolizing their connection to the spiritual significance of the location. Photos and videos of the event, showing Varun and Pooja performing rituals and engaging with the spiritual atmosphere, have gone viral on social media platforms.
