The much-awaited wedding of television’s beloved couple, Karan Kundrra and Tejasswi Prakash, is finally on the horizon. The couple, who have been dating for quite a few years now, are reportedly set to get married this year. While the reports about their wedding have been doing the rounds for quite some time now, the actress’ mother has dropped a major hint during a recent episode of Celebrity MasterChef, where filmmaker and host Farah Khan directly asked Tejasswi’s mother about their wedding plans.
“Shaadi kab hogi?” (When will the wedding happen?) Farah inquired, to which Tejasswi’s mother responded jokingly, saying, “Issi saal ho jaaegi.” (It will happen this year itself.) However, this comment left fans not only surprised but also delighted as their supporters have been eagerly waiting for the couple’s wedding announcement. As soon as Farah congratulated Tejasswi, the actress, who was visibly blushing, tried to downplay the statement. “Aise kuch baat nahi hui hai,” (Nothing like that has been discussed) she said, attempting to maintain secrecy around their plans.
Interestingly, this statement comes just days after Tejasswi herself hinted at the possibility of a simple court marriage with Karan. While speaking on the same reality show, she shared her personal views on weddings, suggesting that she prefers an intimate and low-key ceremony. “I am not big on that. I am okay with a normal court marriage. Hum log phir ghumenge, phirenge, aish karenge types,” (We will travel, roam around, and enjoy life instead) the Naagin 6 actress had said.
Karan Kundrra and Tejasswi Prakash, fondly known as ‘TejRan’ by their fans, have been one of the most adored couples in the entertainment industry. After meeting on the sets of Bigg Boss 15, the couple have always been in the limelight and have never attempted to hide their relationship. While an official announcement from the couple is still awaited, Tejasswi’s mother’s statement has fueled excitement and speculation about their impending nuptials. Fans now eagerly await the wedding date and further details from the couple themselves.
