Tabu wants to join the Hera Pheri 3 cast? Actress drops hint saying ‘cast won’t be complete without’ her

Bringing forth another of his popular works from Malayalam Cinema, Priyadarshan wooed audiences in 2000 with the blockbuster comedy Hera Pheri that is a remake of the film Ramji Rao Speaking. Now, 25 years later after the first instalment and almost 20 years after the second instalment, Hera Pheri 3 has been making news. While it was being said that the film has been in works for the past few years, recently the rumours fuelled up further when Priyadarshan reunited with Akshay Kumar and Tabu for Bhooth Bangla.

While the trio were shooting together recently for the horror comedy, Priyadarshan had a working birthday on the sets where he received love from several special messages from his friends and loved ones including Akshay. In response to the actor’s birthday wish, the filmmaker decided to present Akki with the announcement of Hera Pheri 3. On Monday, reposting a photo shared by Akshay, Tabu hinted at her reuniting with the duo for the third instalment, by commenting, “Of course, the cast won’t be complete without me!!!!!!!”

Her post came after Suniel Shetty too dropped a post about the film on X aka Twitter, wherein he said, “Hera Pheri aur pooch pooch!!! Lets do this #HeraPheri3”. The actor shared his excitement after Priyadarshan tweeted, “Thank you so much for your wishes Akshay . In return I would like to give you a gift , I’m willing to do Hera Pheri 3 , Are you ready @akshaykumar , @SunielVShetty and @SirPareshRawal”.

Interestingly, Tabu was not a part of the second instalment Phir Hera Pheri wherein it was revealed that her character of Anuradha Panikar (from the prequel) died in an accident. Audiences would definitely love to see the role the actress will don for the third instalment, as it has been one of the most anticipated films in recent times!
