Govinda’s wife Sunita Ahuja, who has been handling the career of the 90s Bollywood star, has opened up about her husband not working for the past two years. Furthermore, speaking about the impact on her as he turns 60, the star wife revealed that she is quite insecure about him getting distracted at this age because he was too busy for anything, when he was younger and working. Furthermore, she also expressed her desire to explore something of her and advising other women to follow their dreams and passion once their partners reach a certain age and their kids start living their own life.

In her candid style, Ahuja addressed the various link-up rumours of actresses with Govinda during the 90s, and said, “Dil par patthar rakhna padta hai kyunki kabhi yahan link up, kabhi wahan (With a heavy heart, I would constantly have to deal with these link-up rumours here and there). But often he would be working non-stop so time hi nahi tha affair karne ka (he didn’t have the time to have an affair). Ab woh kaam nahi kar raha hai, toh mujhe insecurity hai kahi affair na kar le. 60 ke baad log sathiya jaate hain (Now that he is not working, I am feeling quite insecure about him having an affair. Because at 60, people often go senile)!
Sunita advises women to not be dependent on men and children but follow their own dreams
Further she went on to add, “Don’t trust men too much, girgit hote hain ye log (they change colour like chameleons). Don’t depend on kids either. Once kids are grown up, and you have done your bit for them, and they have their lives, apni zindagi jeeyo (live your own life). After a certain age, every woman should take time out for herself, for her interest, for her well-being”.
