However, two other members of his family—his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and father Amitabh Bachchan—have achieved unparalleled global fame. Despite his immense talent, Abhishek has often faced comparisons to his legendary father and superstar wife. Addressing this, he has admitted that it’s something that will never be easy for him.
In a recent interview with CNBC-TV18, Abhishek Bachchan shared his perspective on being compared to his father, Amitabh Bachchan. He remarked, “If you are comparing me to the best, somewhere I believe that maybe I am worthy of being considered among these great names. I look at it like that.” Abhishek added, “My parents are my parents, my family is my family, my wife is my wife, and I am immensely proud of them and their achievements and what they continue to do.”
Just as his father, Amitabh Bachchan, continues to inspire him even now, Abhishek Bachchan hopes to be a source of inspiration for his and Aishwarya’s daughter, Aaradhya. Highlighting this, Abhishek noted how Big B, at 82, is actively working, currently filming the latest season of his iconic game show Kaun Banega Crorepati. Abhishek aspires to emulate this dedication, so that when he reaches his 80s, Aaradhya can admire him the same way he looks up to his father.
Abhishek’s impressive past performances are sure to inspire Aaradhya. As for his promising future, the actor has an exciting lineup of projects ahead. He is set to appear next in Housefull 5, followed by Remo D'Souza's Be Happy. Additionally, rumors suggest that Abhishek might join Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan in their upcoming film King.
