After two and half decade of its release, the songs, the dialogues, the style, and the characters of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai continues to remain as fresh as ever! The romantic drama featuring a love triangle set years apart featured one of the most enviable star casts comprising of Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Rani Mukerji, and Salman Khan in an extended cameo. As the film completed 26 years on Wednesday, an emotional Karan Johar recalled fond memories associated with his directorial debut and followed by his post, Sana Saeed who played the younger Anjali and Kajol who played the older Anjali shared heartfelt posts on the film.
For the unversed, Sana Saeed essayed the character of Shah Rukh Khan aka Rahul Khanna’s daughter Anjali Khanna. The seven-year-old plays a major role in the film as she sets to reunite her father and his long-lost college bestie after reading about them in a series of letters shared by her late mother Tina, played by Rani Mukerji. “Every year I get a sweet little reminder of some of the most beautiful memories I got to create as a very tiny but very lucky hooman… I am absolutely thrilled to have gotten the opportunity to work with simply The Best!!!!”, the actress wrote in her caption along with sharing a set of unseen pictures from the film.
She added, “Thank you from my heart to everyone that helped create this beautiful film and every one of you that has sent us so much love over the years. And off course the biggest thank you to Karan Johar for casting me with this incredible cast, a little girl could only dream of”. She signed off by saying, “Dreams do come True”.

Meanwhile, Kajol too shared a set of pictures of her look as the older Anjali aka Anjali Sharma. “Still feeling the same .. even tho I seem to have grown up 26 years later!” she captioned the pictures.

Kuch Kuch Hota Hai marked the directorial debut of Karan Johar along with the film exploring the chemistry of Shah Rukh Khan with Rani Mukerji for the first time. On the other hand, it marked the third collaboration of the superstar with Kajol after three blockbusters – namely Baazigar, Karan Arjun, and Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge.
