Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina are set to impress audiences with their performances in the action-packed film Jigra, which has quickly become one of the most anticipated releases since its announcement. As the film approaches its release on October 11, the creators are preparing to unveil a soulful acoustic track titled “Tenu Sang Rakhna,” along with its music video. Alia Bhatt offered fans a preview by sharing a teaser on social media.
In the short teaser released on Wednesday, viewers get a glimpse of Alia and Vedang portraying a deep sibling bond over the years. The teaser ends on an emotional note, featuring Alia embracing Vedang as the song ‘Tenu Sang Rakhna’ begins to play. Alia captioned the post, “Kujj na howe, ya sab ho jaawe – tenu sang rakhna! In the voice of Arijit Singh & Anumita Nadesan, #TenuSangRakhna song out tomorrow! #Jigra releasing in Hindi & Telugu – in cinemas 11th October.”

Meanwhile, the filmmakers have released the trailer for the film. It opens with Alia Bhatt’s character receiving a late-night call informing her that her brother, Ankur (played by Vedang Raina), has been arrested. Confused and worried, she inquires whether he has done something wrong or if his blood tests will be clear. The scene then transitions to Ankur in a foreign courtroom, struggling to comprehend the language as he is taken into custody.
Directed by Vasan Bala, Jigra features Alia Bhatt in the lead role, with Vedang Raina portraying her brother. The film is brought to you by Viacom18 Studios, Dharma Productions, and Eternal Sunshine Productions, with production credits going to Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Alia Bhatt, Shaheen Bhatt, and Somen Mishra.
