He criticized Asim’s actions, labeling them as foolish. “Ek toh bewakoofi ki itne bade show mein itne bade aadmi ke saath aisi badtameezi ki (It was foolish to misbehave with such a prominent person like Rohit Shetty),” Karan Veer said. He also sympathized with Asim’s fanbase, noting, “I feel bad for his fans who continue to support him in large numbers.”

Karan Veer went further to suggest that Asim Riaz is detached from reality, claiming that the former contestant is living in his "Barbie world." He expressed concerns that Asim’s sense of his enduring popularity might be a delusion. “He’s living in a bubble that his fandom will last forever, that his fans will always be there even in 10-20 years,” Karan Veer remarked, hinting that Asim may be under the misconception that his fame is unshakeable.

In a blunt statement, Karan Veer said Asim needs a reality check and may even require medical help. “He needs to get a reality check, and somewhere he needs medical help, this is what I feel. Everyone has their opinions,” he said, standing firm on his belief that Asim’s behavior on the show went beyond normal outbursts and suggested deeper issues.
Asim Riaz’s response to the controversy
Asim Riaz, who was asked to leave Khatron Ke Khiladi following his confrontation with Rohit Shetty, had earlier addressed the controversy while performing in Dubai. He accused the show’s makers of altering the narrative through edited footage, arguing that the full context of his actions was not shown. The controversy escalated further when Asim had allegedly called his fellow contestants’ “losers” during the argument.
