Priyanka Chopra arrives in Mumbai after announcing her Marathi movie Paani

Global superstar Priyanka Chopra has returned to India for a brief visit, just days after wrapping up the shoot of her upcoming film, The Bluff. The actress was spotted at Mumbai's airport early Friday morning, surprising fans with her unexpected arrival.

Priyanka Chopra Arrives in Mumbai for Paani Trailer Launch  Priyanka's visit to Mumbai is primarily for the launch of the trailer of her first Marathi production, Paani. The actress was seen walking out of the airport alone, waving to the waiting photographers. She was dressed in a stylish floral co-ord set, paired with a crop top and a baseball cap.

Fans expressed their excitement and surprise at Priyanka's return to India so soon, especially since she was traveling solo without her daughter, Malti. Many speculated that her trip would be short-lived as she usually brings Malti along to the sets of her shoots.

Priyanka had last visited Mumbai in July with her husband, Nick Jonas, to attend the grand wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. The couple had returned to New York City the following day to resume filming The Bluff.

Priyanka had recently shared the first teaser of Paani, a Marathi film that is set to release in October. The film marks her debut as a producer in the Marathi film industry. Meanwhile, The Bluff is a 19th-century Caribbean-set film directed by Frank E Flowers. Priyanka Chopra stars in the lead role as a former female pirate. The film also features Karl Urban, John Cena, Idris Elba, and Jack Quaid.
