Sharing her excitement about releasing her debut album, Lisa exudes, “Working on this album was like a personal catharsis. My listeners have never heard me tell my own stories, and with this project, they get to see the most unfiltered version of Lisa Mishra. My goal with this album was to make young girls feel seen and build a community of listeners that could bond with me around the experience of being a woman. I want to empower girls through my words, but I also want us to feel vulnerable together and explore themes like loneliness and heartbreak.”

Featuring a total of 8 tracks, the release marks the introduction of 5 new captivating tracks on the record with ‘Nasha’ as the lead single, written and composed by Lisa. The other tracks released as part of the album include ‘Dil Yeh Mera’, ‘Roshni’, ‘Lonely’ and ‘Love Song’ and the already-released alternate version of ‘Aadat.’

“I wouldn’t be anywhere without the help of our incredible team of producers and writers. Their commitment to helping me tell my stories through song is the only way this project got done. This album pulled out not only the writer and composer in me but the music producer and music video director as well. I’ve grown more than I could ever imagine because of Sorry I’m Late and I hope it’s a confident debut that the audience resonates with”, she adds.
