Abhimanyu Dassani made his debut five years ago in Vasan Bala’s Mard Ko Dard Nahin Hota. We have seen a lot of debutants making their foray into films with action films. But this one was a different kind of action where the protagonist is suffering from such a condition that he doesn’t feel any physical pain even when he is bleeding. Hence, the title. The film also starred Gulshan Devaiah and Radhika Madan in pivotal roles.
Mard Ko Dard Nahin Hota completed five years yesterday. To mark the occasion of his debut film, Abhimanyu shared some unseen pictures from the shoot of the movie. The pictures show him in fun mood but the one he shared on his Instagram story also show him with injury marks.
In one picture, Abhimanyu is also seen walking with the help of crutches, the one used by Gulshan Devaiah’s character in the movie. The latter also received appreciation for his work in the film. Abhimanyu, on the other hand, not only received acclaim but also won the Filmfare Award for Best Debut that year.
Despite it being five years since the release of Mard Ko Dard Nahin Hota, the movie continues to be remembered for its quirky moments and impressive action sequences.
