Disha Patani starrer M.S. Dhoni – The Untold Story clocks 7 years; actress remembers Sushant Singh Rajput

Disha Patani, who took to social media, to celebrate seven years of her debut film MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, shared another heartfelt post which she dedicated to her late co-star Sushant Singh Rajput. The film featured Disha in the role of Priyanka Jha and the actress shared her fond memory with the actor which was a beautiful and romantic scene from the cricket biopic based on the life of one of India’s most celebrated cricketers, Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

In the post, Disha Patani shared a scene where she confesses her love for Dhoni. For the unversed, her character was inspired by the first love of Dhoni’s life, who died in a road accident. Recalling the scene, the actress posted a heartwarming note for her co-star Sushant Singh Rajput saying, “Grateful for this beautiful journey and my first film in Hindi cinema???? Love wholeheartedly and cherish the ones who make you happy safe and heard?? life’s too short for regrets! We couldn’t say goodbye but i hope you’re happy and at peace????” Disha also took to her Instagram story to dedicate a post for the film wherein she had written, "7 years back where my journey started”.

MS Dhoni The Untold Story featured Sushant Singh Rajput in the lead role with Kiara Advani essaying the role of Sakshi Dhoni, the cricketer’s wife. The film traced the journey of the former Indian captain since his childhood until he managed to get India a win at the 2011 World Cup. It released in 2016 and turned out to be one of the most successful film of the year.

As for Disha, the actress is currently working on the Suriya starrer Kanguva as well as the Prabhas, Deepika Padukone starrer Kalki 2928 AD.
