Varun Dhawan celebrates his birthday on the sets of Bawaal; says “It ain't my sweet 16"

Varun Dhawan turns a year older today. After spending his last two birthdays at home due to the pandemic-induced lockdown, the actor is celebrating his birthday on set shooting for his next film. On Sunday morning, the actor took to his social media handle to pen a birthday note while also revealing how he has started his day.

Varun shared a picture of himself posing in his vanity fan which is filled with blue and gold balloons. Posing in front of a balloon arch, Varun is seen dressed in a white shirt and khakhee pants. Sharing the picture, he wrote, "It ain’t my sweet 16, but super happy to spend this bday working. The last 2 birthday were spent at home but feels great to be out here on set getting up at 530 in the morning and reporting to a @niteshtiwari22 set #bawaal. 2022 is special for me with #jugjuggjeyo and #bhediya. set for release".

Meanwhile, Varun had recently shared his look for the film Bawaal. The actor parked on a Royal Enfield looked dashing and ripped in the image, as he was clicked on the streets of Lucknow. Interestingly, the mega-canvas film will be shot across 3 Indian locations and 5 European countries, including the city of Paris. The film also gets together Varun and Janhvi Kapoor for the first time. The film will be released in theatres on April 7, 2023.

Meanwhile, Varun is awaiting the release of JugJugg Jeeyo on June 24. The film also stars Neetu Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, and Kiara Advani. He also has Bhediya and the Indian version of Citadel in the pipeline.
