Koffee With Karan 7: Did Ananya Panday just confirm Kiara Advani - Sidharth Malhotra’s relationship?

Considering that Ananya Panday met up with her mentor Karan Johar during her recent stint on Koffee With Karan 7, there were many skeletons tumbling out of the closet. It seems that the filmmaker knew a lot about his ‘student of the year’ and even sort of quipped some interesting anecdotes about her life. While the Liger actress smartly dodged questions about her own life, we can’t say the same about her candidness regarding other people’s love lives, especially about the much talked about couple Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani.

The Rapid Fire round may have started with the politically correct Ananya Panday giving answers but as it proceeded, the momentum definitely picked up and during the last few sections, we got to see the actress being her candid self while responding. The last segment of her Rapid Fire round involved her revealing the relationship status of the given celebrities. It started off with Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya’s response was, “Feels like he is in a rush to meet Mika Singh”, making a reference to the Swayamvar that the musician had recently participated in. The actress made the comment after seeing the popularity of her Liger co-star on the show.

Followed by that, she was asked about Tiger Shroff to which the actress wittily answered with a hint towards Disha Patani adding, ”He knows his Disha. His directions are quite clear.” When asked about Janhvi Kapoor, the Gehraiyaan actress maintained, “she is a single pringle.” Finally when he questioned about Kiara Advani, Ananya Panday referred to the song she featured with Sidharth Malhotra saying, “Her raatans are very lambiyan” When Karan prodded further by asking who is her 'Ranjha', Ananya just hissed. But Karan completed her sentence adding, ‘Wake Up Sid’, to which Ananya nodded in agreement.

On the other hand, speaking about her own love life, Ananya Panday maintained extreme secrecy. While she neither confirmed nor denied her past relationship with Khaali Peeli star Ishaan Khatter, when asked about Aditya Roy Kapur, she clearly maintained the ‘cliched’ neutral stand of ‘we are just good friends’.

The recent episode of Koffee With Karan 7 some hot brewing conversations with Liger stars Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday. While dodging the many rumours about her love life, Ananya Panday revealed about how she has been hitting on her co-star Vijay Deverakonda. Amidst interesting confessions and revelations, Karan Johar also played the usual quiz round with the stars. While the initial few quizzes saw Ananya acing it with her Bollywood knowledge, soon the tables turned when other questions started.

Koffee With Karan lovers would be aware that the quiz round also features a mini section where the stars are asked to call co-celebrities, especially actors who are asked to say, ‘Hey Karan, it’s me’ to the filmmaker and also reveal what they are doing at that point of time. In the same round, Ananya Panday ended up calling Kartik Aaryan. The actor, who picked up the phone, said, ‘Hey, Karan it’s me’. Followed by that, Ananya asked him about his whereabouts but before he could reply, Karan chimed in adding, “He is again promoting Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 if I know right.” Playing along, Kartik added, “Yes, yes I am at home promoting Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.” The conversation concluded with Karan politely ending it with a ‘thank you’.

As for the rest of the game, it ended with a tie between Ananya Panday and Vijay Deverakonda, While Vijay ended up calling on Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the celebrity calling round, Ananya followed up the Kartik call with another call to Janhvi Kapoor, who was on the sets of Bawaal. So she ended up making Karan talk to Janhvi and Varun, thereby winning extra points. Their tie breaker was the question – ‘Who was the leading lady of Maine Pyar Kiya’. Ananya Panday answered saying, ‘Bhagyashree’, thereby winning the round.

Woah! Salman Khan announces No Entry sequel post Bhaijaan at Vikrant Rona event

Salman Khan recently left everyone surprised with his entry on stage during the Vikrant Rona event. The superstar, who is presenting this Kichcha Sudeepa, Jacqueline Fernandez starrer, made an interesting revelation while interacting with the media. During the conversation with media, the superstar may have announced that he would kick off No Entry 2 after wrapping up Bhaijaan.

While many actors in the past have revealed details about No Entry sequel including director Anees Bazmee, it was also being said that considering the work commitments of Salman Khan and Anil Kapoor, it was getting tough to adjust the shoot schedules. Although Anees Bazmee had revealed in an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, that Salman may be considering kicking off No Entry 2 in December, it seems that the superstar used the Vikrant Rona event platform to drop a major hint about starting the shoot for the comedy.

He not only invited Anees Bazmee to the Vikrant Rona event but also added, “Yahan par aise writer director baite hain… Rs.100 100 crore ki hit de raha hai aadmi, woh bhi comedy mein… kal No Entry Mein bhi deyega … 300 crore.” (There is a writer-director here… he is giving Rs. 100 100 crore hits, and that too in comedy. He will give one with No Entry too. It will be Rs. 300 crores). His statement seems to have become an affirmation of sorts where it is being said that the actor will kick off the Anees Bazmee directorial No Entry 2 (Sequel) as soon as he finishes the shoot of Bhaijaan (Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali).

Coming to Vikrant Rona, readers would be aware that it is a multi-lingual fantasy adventure drama starring Kichcha Sudeepa as the leading man along with Jacqueline Fernandez and other actors playing pivotal roles. After teasing the announcement on Sunday, filmmaker Karan Johar has officially announced Screw Dheela starring Tiger Shroff in the lear role with speculations around Rashmika Mandanna cast opposite him. The film is being helmed by Shashank Khaitan and produced by Dharma Productions.

Karan on Monday took to social media to make the announcement and wrote, "Arriving with a solid punch of entertainment, super excited to present Tiger Shroff in #ScrewDheela, directed by Shashank Khaitan in an all new world of action!!!💥" The video was Tiger Shroff flaunting his action skills fighting some goons.

A source close to Bollywood Hungama earlier revealed that the film will be shot in India and abroad with the first schedule expected to kick off in Europe. Both Tiger and Rashmika will be a part of this schedule. "It's not one of those run of the mill actioner but has a strong story too and falls in the zone that Tiger has not explored before. The film will be released by mid 2023," the source further told us. A big ensemble, including the antagonist, is in the process of being cast for Screw Dheela.

Meanwhile, Tiger Shroff has Baaghi 4 with Ahmed Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala. On the other hand, Rashmika Mandanna will star in Goodbye with Amitabh Bachchan, Mission Majnu and Animal. Shashank Khaitan is directing Bedhadak starring Shanaya Kapoor, Lakshya Lalwani and Gurfateh Pirzada.

Dharma Productions' other films in the pipeline include Liger, Brahmastra, Govinda Naam Mera, Mr. Aur Mrs. Mahi and Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.

Aamir Khan and PVR sign a mega deal for Laal Singh Chaddha; gets upper hand in showcasing as compared to Raksha Bandhan

Aamir Khan is a marketing genius, holding the cards close to his chest until the release of his films. As the countdown for Laal Singh Chaddha has begun, we have exclusively learnt that Aamir has signed a mega deal with the biggest national chain of India, PVR, to obtain optimum showcasing at the property across the country. According to our sources, Laal Singh Chaddha will be getting over 65 percent of the showcasing at PVR, leaving just 35 percent for the competitor, Raksha Bandhan.

"Aamir has partnered with PVR. It's a barter deal, and in the process, he will end up getting a major chunk of showcasing at PVR cinemas in India. The national chain controls nearly 55 percent of the total multiplex business in India, and with this move, Aamir will have an upper hand on the showcasing front to start with," revealed a source to Bollywood Hungama.

However, team Raksha Bandhan is unfazed by this move of Mr. Perfectionist. "Raksha Bandhan team is well aware of their target audience. While Laal Singh Chaddha is more of an urban film, Raksha Bandhan caters to the rural belts and hence, Zee Studios is focusing more on getting the showcasing in single screens of India. By the time of release, though the overall showcasing will be in favour of Laal Singh Chaddha, Raksha Bandhan too, will have enough shows as an opportunity to become a hit," the source added.

It's going to be a clash of titans, with two AK's battling it out to emerge a winner. However, the target isn't the same for both the films. While the Aamir Khan starrer will need to emerge the biggest Bollywood film of the year by surpassing Kartik Aaryan starrer, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 to emerge a success, given that the stakes involved are high, the Akshay Kumar film will merely have to touch the 85 crore mark to be termed a success venture. "Given the targets for both the films, it's obvious for LSC to get at-least 20 percent better showcasing that Raksha Bandhan. It's a fair division, giving both films enough platform to get the numbers and attain targets," the source shared.

Park Seo Joon to make MCU debut by reportedly playing the role of Noh-Varr in The Marvels

South Korean superstar Park Seo Joon, who rose to global fame due to K-Dramas and starring in the Oscar-winning Korean film Parasite, will make his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in the  upcoming Captain Marvel sequel, The Marvels starring alongside Brie Larson. Rumours are rife that the actor has been cast in the role of Noh-Varr in the sequel.

At San Diego Comic Con 2022, Marvel President Kevin Feige teased the multiverse saga, one can expect the same to happen in The Marvel considering Brie Larson makes a brief appearance in the Disney+ series Ms. Marvel's post credits scene in the finale. With that being said, Noh-Varr was introduced by Grant Morrison in 2000. According to Legend of Comics Geek, "Noh-Varr was a member of the Kree race located in the alternate reality of Earth-200080. He had his DNA altered with cockroach genes to include insectial properties and joined the 18th Kree Diplomatic Gestalt, a peacekeeping group charged with maintaining the cease-fire between that reality's Kree and Skrull races while travelling aboard their ship, the Marvel. However, the ship became lost in the Multiverse, and was then blown out of the sky after reaching Earth-616, leaving Noh-Varr as the sole survivor."

In an interview with The Guardian, Park Seo Joon expressed his feelings and talked about joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe film. "When I first heard that the Marvel Cinematic Universe wanted to speak with me, I couldn’t believe it. I actually couldn’t believe it,” the Itaewon Class actor said.

Though he remained tight-lipped over the plot details, he mentioned that he was a bit nervous at first and added, “I’m just trying to be careful with Marvel-related questions. I’m not someone who has a fear of challenges, but whether I am filming in South Korea or abroad, everything is a challenge for me. So, I did feel some nerves at first. But everyone was so helpful and welcoming that I was able to find my feet really quickly.”

On the work front, Park Seo Joon is best known for his starring roles in Korean dramas like Kill Me, Heal Me, Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth, Fight for My Way, What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim and Itaewon Class. He also appeared in films such as Midnight Runners (2017), The Divine Fury (2019) and made a cameo appearance in Oscar-winning dark comedy Parasite.

The actor has wrapped the shoot for his upcoming film, Dream. Park Seo Joon will be appearing in his MCU film The Marvels (2023). He is currently starring in a variety show In The SOOP: Friendcation with his best friends BTS' V, actors Choi Woo Shik and Park Hyung Sik and singer Peakboy.

Ranveer Singh and Rohit Shetty shoot additional scenes for Cirkus in Mumbai

Filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus will have a Christmas release worldwide. The entertainer starring Ranveer Singh, Pooja Hegde, Jaqueline Fernandez, Varun Sharma and a bevy of celebrated actors will arrive towards the end of the year. But, before that, the actor-director will film additional scenes for the film.

According to a report in a daily, Rohit Shetty has arranged a 7-to-10 days' schedule for the patch shoot with the principal cast. Ranveer Singh began shooting on July 21 at Mehboob Studios in Mumbai. The schedule will be wrapped up by July end following which post-production begins.

Gulshan Kumar, Bhushan Kumar & T-Series presents Cirkus produced and directed by Rohit Shetty. The film is set to release on 23rd December 2022.
