Veteran actor Dharmendra on Tuesday shared a cozy photograph of his Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani team. In the photo, the 85 year old actor is accompanied by Shabana Azmi, Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh and director Karan Johar, as they pose in front of Qutub Minar.
Wearing a white sweater, black denims, scarf and hat, Dharmendra looked handsome. Shabana in a white saree stood on his right, while Alia stood comfortably beside him on the other side, looking pretty in her white-red floral saree. Ranveer too is dressed in all-white as he flashes his brightest smile to the camera, while KJo turns heads with his Gucci look.
“Dosto, pyaar Mohabbat izzat itni milli sab se….pata hi nahin chala main nayi unit ke saath kaam kar Raha (Friends, got so much love, affection, and respect from everyone that I didn’t realize it is my first film with this unit),” Dharmendra captioned the post.
Recently in an interview, Dharmendra had praised young stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. He said that Ranveer looks so natural in all his films. He is a sweet child. He later complemented Alia for her brilliant work.
This Monday, Alia Bhatt announced the release date of Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani which is produced by Dharma Production. It will hit screens on February 10, 2023. The announcement was accompanied by a video, showcasing the montages of some behind-the-scenes clips. We got a peek into Dharmendra, Ranveer Singh, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi and Alia Bhatt’s characters as Karan Johar directs them.
There are whispered insinuations and veiled smirks in the entertainment industry about the company that Jacqueline Fernandez keeps, after pictures of her cozying up with alleged extortionist Sukesh Chandrasekhar surfaced online.
Typically, the actress denied knowing the incarcerated wheeler-dealer. And then clammed up, hoping that the troubles would vanish like a bad dream. But with pictorial evidence carpeting the internet, Ms. Fernandez faces the stickiest situation in her career so far.
A well-known director who knows her well says Jacqueline wasn’t aware of Chandrashekhar's business activities, “He showered her with attention and expensive gifts. She fell for it. She probably didn’t check his identity. Which is as bad as Shilpa Shetty claiming she didn’t know what her husband was up to. If you’re dating/marrying someone you can’t be blind to what he does,” says the director.
Years ago Raj Kapoor’s discovery Mandakini of Ram Teri Ganga Maili fame was caught in highly dubious company. It killed her career. Nothing as drastic is likely to happen to Jacqueline’s career.
A co-star of the actress tells me she will seek the help of her mentor-guide Salman Khan to bail her out of the situation. This likelihood apart the next few weeks won’t be easy on Ms. Fernandez. She has a lot of answering to do. And she may not have the answers that the government agencies are looking for.

Bollywood star Anushka Sharma gave fans a glimpse of a tea party she attended a couple of weeks ago. The actor, on Monday, shared a three-week-old post in which she posed with fellow actor Athiya Shetty, Rohit Sharma's wife Ritika Sajdeh, Suryakumar Yadav's wife Devisha and others at the party.
The photo was first shared by Jaya Bhardwaj, cricketer Deepak Chahar's fiancée. In the post, Anushka Sharma, Athiya Shetty and others were resting on the ground, by a few bean bags while a spread of snacks was placed beside them on tables. A variety of cupcakes, sandwiches and different food items were seen in the picture.
Jaya shared the picture with the caption, “An evening well spent #teaparty.” Anushka shared the post on her Instagram Stories and wrote, “Throwback” along with a heart emoji and a picnic basket emoji.
The images seem to be taken in UAE, where Indian cricketers Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and others were playing for team India at the ICC T20 World Cup. Unfortunately, the Indian cricket team didn't qualify for the finale.

Anushka Sharma has stayed away from the screen since 2018 and has been giving her complete attention to her daughter Vamika. Last she was seen in Zero.
The heirs of Aldo Gucci have issued a statement saying they are “a bit disconcerted” about what they claim is their inaccurate portrayal in Ridley Scott’s House of Gucci film.
According to Variety, the statement said, “The production of the film did not bother to consult the heirs before describing Aldo Gucci, president of the company for 30 years [played by Al Pacino in the film], and the members of the Gucci family as thugs, ignorant and insensitive to the world around them.”
It added that the picture attributes “a tone and an attitude to the protagonists of the well-known events that never belonged to them. This is extremely painful from a human point of view and an insult to the legacy on which the brand is built today.”
The statement was first published by Italian news agency ANSA, goes on to blast how Milanese socialite Patrizia Reggiani (played by Lady Gaga in the film), who was convicted in 1998 of facilitating the murder of Maurizio Gucci (played by Adam Driver), “is portrayed not just in the film, but also in statements from cast members, as a victim trying to survive in a male and male chauvinist corporate culture. This couldn’t be further from the truth,” the statement read as during the 70-year time span when the Gucci company was a family business, it was “an inclusive company,” it claimed.
The statement noted that during the 1980s when the film is set, there were several women who held top positions such as the president of Gucci America, the head of Global PR and communications etc.,- whether they were family members or not.
The statement concluded, “Gucci is a family that lives honoring the work of its ancestors, whose memory does not deserve to be disturbed to stage a spectacle that is untrue and which does not do justice to its protagonists,” adding that “the members of the Gucci family reserve the right to take action to protect the name, image and dignity of themselves and their loved ones.”
The full statement, translated from the Italian, is below:
“The Gucci family takes note of the release of the film “House of Gucci” and is a bit disconcerted because, although the work claims to want to tell the “true story” of the family, the fears raised by the trailers and interviews released so far, are confirmed: the film carries a narrative that is far from accurate.
The production of the film did not bother to consult the heirs before describing Aldo Gucci – president of the company for 30 years – and the members of the Gucci family as thugs, ignorant and insensitive to the world around them, attributing to the protagonists, events, a tone and an attitude that never belonged to them. This is extremely painful from a human point of view and an insult to the legacy on which the brand is built today.
Even more objectionable is the reconstruction that becomes mystifying almost to the point of paradox when gets to the point of suggesting an indulgent tone towards a woman who, definitively convicted of having been the instigator of the murder of Maurizio Gucci, is painted not only in the film, but also in the statements made by cast members, as a victim who was trying to survive in a masculine and macho corporate culture.
This couldn’t be further from the truth. Moreover, over the course of it 70-year history during which it was a family business, Gucci was an inclusive company. Indeed, precisely in the 1980s – the historical context in which the film is set – women were in several top positions: whether they were members of the family or extraneous to it, these included the president of Gucci America, the Head of Global PR & Communication, and a member of the board of directors of Gucci America.

Despite the tone of the statement, no legal action is being taken at this time by the Gucci family against Scott’s Scott Free shingle and Universal, according to reports.

Bitcoin and most major altcoins rebounded off their strong support levels, but the real challenge for the bulls is to sustain the momentum and clear the $60,000 resistance level.

Taapsee Pannu who has thick curly hair recently spoke about being insecure of her unconventional looks and even underwent a chemical treatment to straighten her curly hair. Talking to Cosmopolitan magazine, Taapsee said that she found herself different from the actors she saw on her television screen. "I didn't have those big ‘doe eyes’; I didn't have an elegant, small nose. I had this large, ‘royal nose’, as people call it. I didn't have luscious lips or straight, silky hair," she said.
Taapsee said that she noticed that none of the actresses on television had curly hair like her. “While I was still in school, I visited a salon to get my hair chemically straightened—twice—using those terrible chemical treatments that were available at the time," she said, adding that they completely ruined her hair. She said that she was frustrated to have limp ends with curly bits growing in the top and was later horrified when her hair began to fall.
On the work front, Taapsee has had three releases this year, all on OTT platforms- Haseen Dillruba, Annnabelle Sethupathi and Rashmi Rocket.
She has Looop Lapeta, Dobaaraa, Shabaash Mithu, Blurr, and Mishan Impossible in the pipeline. She is currently shooting for Woh Ladki Hai Kahaan? with Pratik Gandhi.
Salman Khan and Aayush Sharma starrer Antim: The Final Truth got a worldwide release this Friday on 26th November 2021. Helmed by Mahesh Manjrekar the film has been receiving quite an overwhelming responses at the box office. While at the same time, it has managed to impress the critics as well.
Post the success of his film, Salman Khan was in conversation with the media where talked about playing the character of a Sikh cop. In the film, Salman plays the character of a Sikh cop which is quite different from the cops he'd played in the past.
When asked Salman if he got nervous about playing his role in the film he said, “I knew in my head what I wanted to do with the character. I wanted to play it exactly how it was narrated to me. Mahesh also had the same thought. But when I started playing the character, I got scared, I’m not doing anything. But then I drew confidence from the fact that Aayush was playing his character in the way that I thought I should play mine. And if I would play my character that way too, then his character would have got suppressed."
He added, "Both of us could not have played our characters the same way. Aayush plays a powerful man but he has got that anger in him. While my character in the film sports a smile. Even if he’d exercise his authority, he’d do it with a smile. So he knows his power. Even when he is having a conversation with the politicians, he will still have a smile on his face. That is the way I portrayed my character. It was good fun."
The actor was also asked if he'd add some inputs from his end to character. Responding to it, he says "Mahesh and I, both had our inputs. I am playing an inspector and a Sardar in the movie. So I needed to be careful about my role. Be it any community or culture, I have to be careful about playing the respective role. You’ve got to respect the community and glorify them in the right manner. I’ve done that in all my films.”
Further Salman also revealed hurting himself with the Kada (Thick Bangle) he wore in the movie. The actor said, “While trying to shoot for the scenes, that Kada hurts so much that your hands start hurting."
